Aptitude (Inherent ability)
- Component of competency to do a certain kind of work at a certain level, which can also be considered ‘talent’.
- 1) Aptitude may be physical or mental.
- 2) It is a present condition that is indicative of an individual’s potentialities for future.
- 3) Aptitude implies the prediction about the individual’s future performance.
- Attitude – Has to do with character. Aptitude – With competence
- Character is relatively permanent whereas aptitude can be changed and developed
